Trials

Try. You try and often fail. You're on trial – a Just Judge awaits you. You live a trial – a test to find out what kind of person you are. You are trying, and as you try you will be tried.

Do you think that you have been brought into existence merely to enjoy yourself with aspects of life such as clothes, food, drink, family, children, love, money or possessions? Can not each of these things be a trial too?

What immense justice is it and how much praise can we laud upon the One who created this world as a trial for the souls? He said:

'Glorified is the One in whose hand is Dominion and He is in control of everything. [It is He] who created death and life to try you as to who is the best in deeds'.

Ponder over these verses as much as you can. They are of incalculable value and weight in showing us the wisdom behind our creation and our relation to the Creator. They tell us simply the reason for our existence. They contain a vision of our Creator in His essence and essential reality – showing us His immense power and concern for what He has created. They also show us that we will die before the real life begins.

We are returning to Him. He will judge us according to our deeds. Our lives are part of a grand trial where all of humanity is judged according to their deeds – their personal, individual deeds as well as how they deal with one another. No-one will be wronged.

Again, no-one will be wronged.

What will be the state of someone who has wronged others without right? How will they fare? Those ignorant, cruel tyrants and their followers, or those who immerse themselves in the delusions of this world – seeking to gain power for themselves, or to gain pleasure from decadence – breaking all boundaries of common morality and human decency, causing hurt and pain and forsaking the rights of others they perceive as weaker than themselves.

In reality they have wronged themselves, as they will not be wronged in the least, but will be given exactly what they deserve...

This is our trial, dear friends. Which of us will pass the test?

It is up to you which type of person you are going to be, so live as you will in this world because we will meet our Lord on the Day of Judgement.

Till then, try, try, try...

(Remember, dear friends that we have a window of opportunity right up to the last breath to amend our ways and turn back to Him in repentance. Indeed He is accepting of repentance and forgiving.)
