warble (out of practice)

when has anything ever been like it is today? or has anything ever been really that different from how it's always been. maybe man's behaviour is just a blueprint in a platonic idea of the world of ideas, but we can say we're individual, and someone else can scream 'Im not', pretending he's understood something that everyone else just didnt quite grasp. he knew it was his last gasp, and his air's running out, and the clock's ticking away.

there's a world of spirits they say, and interwoven dimensions, and so many things we dont understand, so why not? even if there is, or isnt, what are you going to do about it? do you have any power? except over yourself. maybe you give life and take it away, but can you resurrect? did you make life come inside your own mother's womb - to come into being, i mean, did you choose to exist?
none of us has chosen that, but we exist, and what does that mean?

here and there lonely people call out their refrains, and the others shuffle by with their hands deep in their pockets, and noses on the ground (as some might put it), trying their darndest to ignore what's being pointed out to them. those strange warners dont ask for any financial gains for the words they say, and in reality no-one can lose from following that 'priceless advice'. but, who listens?

there are a few. those willing to break from the moulds that have been handed so conveniently to them, but are full of holes and have no security within, yet form a prison and the sad fact is that most of them never escape, and later, when death takes them and then there is death no more, then its to the flames, and what a wretched end that is to be.

the few turn to the speakers, and are not afraid. they know what is true as they hear it. to the rest who cannot hear the beautiful truth that's funnelling toward them from words and pictures and inner-nature thoughts, the speaker and their followers become first madmen, then move into the realm of enemy. someone trying to change the staus quo.

and its not as if you can lose by listening.. the only way to lose is not to believe, and then death comes in that state, and then...
