natural mystic
There's a difference between knowledge and understanding. You might say you know something, but as to it's meaning, you have no idea...
as well as this, it seems like every thought has been had. perhaps it is something to do with purity? maybe in man's beginning , i.e. Adam (Peace be upon him)'s time, and in the first few generations of humans, all was pure - genes, thoughts, ideas, civilisation, and what we have now is everything 'watered down', diluted to a shadow of what it was. perhaps that's a little pessimistic, but the germ of a truth is there, Im sure.
I think people presume that they are the most advanced, that 'modernity' gives them creedence over the 'former people's' that what some (me included) call the 'natural' way of life, the fitrah, is dead-beat, and idiotic, whereas the thruth of it is that this is the most advanced way of life.
something to ponder over...
